Over the last several years I've been up and down with Cotton O'Neil in Wamego. They've switched my doctor so many times it's hard to keep up, so I just haven't been going to the doctor. I finally broke down and went and saw Julia Hammett ARNP. I cannot begin to tell you how amazing this woman is. She actually listened to everything I had to say, it's been way too long since someone from Cotton O'Neil acted like they cared about what I said. After meeting with her for about an hour, she recommended I get lab work done. I'm scared to death of needles and have panic attacks even thinking about having blood drawn, so I wasn't too excited about this. I took my two year old in with me first thing in the morning and Sande was AMAZING! After she chatted with my two year old for a bit she said "okay done". I think I was in her chair for about three minutes total. My anxiety was through the roof, and afterwards I even called my mom and told her "that woman can take my blood any day of the week."
Thank you to Julie and Sande for helping me break through my hatred of Cotton O'Neil. You two and the nursing staff are the only reasons I will be back.
